Core Programs - National Policy
The RUPRI National Policy Programs office is the Washington D.C. presence for RUPRI, providing the interface between the broad range of RUPRI activities and the Administration and Congress. Specially, this office facilitates the National Rural Network and a multitude of rural health and human services initiatives, including staffing for the RUPRI Rural Health Panel’s Washington, DC activities. We host and attend briefings on numerous rural policy and program areas, such as trade, education, environment, health, and the re-authorization of the Farm Bill.
